Background information: I was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. My parents were Christians and very involved in the church that my family attended. I decided to follow Jesus at a young age. As a youth, I was very involved with our church's youth ministry and the Bible camp that the youth attended in the summer. It was through my experiences serving as a counselor and working with junior high school students at my church that I felt God calling me to work for a church in a full time capacity. After graduating high school, I pursued an education track that would prepare me for full time ministry in a church. I graduated with a business degree from the University of Sioux Falls in 2000 and with a Masters of Divinity degree from North American Baptist Seminary in 2003. I started to work at Hillcrest as the Student Ministries Pastor in 2002 and began full time June 2003. I made the move to the Ministry Pastor June 2005.

Hobbies and Passions: I enjoy spending time with Tarina and the kids. We like to play outside, swim at the pool, play trampoline dodgeball and go to the lake. I teach ethics courses as an adjunct professor at Colorado Technical University. I enjoy reading, sports, and eating!
