I have been the volunteer Children's Director at Hillcrest for the last 6 years.  I have had a call in my life to use the gifts and talents God has given me in the Church first and then in the world.  I was recently hired as the Children's Ministry Coordinator and look forward to continuing to design a dynamic Children's ministry and serve along side wonderful people who also have a passion for children's ministry.  I also currently teach pre-kindergarten at Central Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten as well as teach the school’s music classes.  I also teach Kindermusik at Bright Beginnings Studios.  Prior to these positions, I first taught 3rd grade at Harrisburg Elementary after graduating from the University of Sioux Falls in 2000. 

I grew up in Dickinson (ND) and moved to Sioux Falls for college.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and minors in Early Childhood and Music.  Brian and I have been married for 12 years and have 4 wonderful children.  Our oldest son Riley is 8 and loves to collect many different things and Legos.  Wesley is 6 and loves to play ball of any kind.  Charley turns 5 in September and loves to snuggle with his mommy and dressing up to go to ‘work’.  Finally, Kinsley is 4 and loves to be girly.  Besides being a mom, wife, and teacher, I also love music, coffee, and scrapbooking.
