The world values comfort and happiness. There’s nothing wrong with these things until they become our pursuit in leu of the holiness God calls us to pursue. God desires us to allow him to be the author of our lives but sometimes we look to other places for help and those can become addictions. This week, Pastor Doug will discuss the way we fall into addictions and how to do a 180 and turn back to God.
If you have had faith, then you have had times where you struggled to keep it. Faith in Christ is a relationship and there are times we feel closer to God than at others. This week, Pastor Doug will help us see that when we struggle to keep faith, it unlikely that God moved away from us and more likely we have move away from him.

Then he will look at the Bible to see if there might be a step or two we can learn to keep adultery at bay!
Pastor Tarina will continue her 5th Sunday Sermons about the Armor of God. A Roman soldier would never go into battle without his breastplate. The breastplate protects his heart, the most important organ we have. So, Paul uses the breastplate to compare the protection piece we need to be righteous.
What are demons? Are they red? Were they created by the Devil? Can they hurt us or cause us to do bad things? Where are they and what is their purpose? Does God have any control over them? Not knowing these things about demons can cause us to be fearful of them.
