8/9/2022 0 Comments Biases No MoreWhether we realize it or not, we all have biases. Biases often feed our “grudges” or attitudes towards others. One person’s actions might taint how you feel about a group of people. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus attacks the Jews’ bias toward the Samaritans. He showed that the “despised” Samaritan ultimately was the one who truly showed love and mercy. Letting go of our biases will help us show love and forgiveness like Jesus did.
Questions for further thought: 1. What biases might you have? 2. What impacts have your biases had on your relationships with others? Challenge: Ask God to help you identify and let go of the biases that are impeding your ability to show love and forgiveness to others.
