This passage of scripture takes place one month after the Israelites cross the Red Sea on dry ground. After such a miracle, you would anticipate more faith and less grumbling. However, are we any different? God provides, but do we forget that and grumble like the Israelites when we think God is not moving fast enough? We get wrapped up in the moment and fail to remember everything God has done in the past. One way to remember what God has done is keep a journal or written list of the miracles He has performed in your life and refer to it when you start to doubt or grumble.
Questions for further thought: 1. What is something God has done for you lately or in the past? 2. What is something you are waiting for or asking God for assistance? Challenge: To help remind you of all that God has done, make a list and refresh the list as God continues to walk with you.
