God's Word and Coming Home

Psalm 122:1

No place is more special to us, generally, than our homes. Safe, nice, ordered the way we generally like it, and together with our families, etc. At the very best of times, however, that is nothing like being in the House of the Lord. Can you imagine it?

Questions for further thought:
1. Can you imagine being in the House where our Father God is in His radiant glory?
2. Can you imagine what it will be like to be in a perfect home each and every single second (assuming time means anything) of our eternal lives?

Challenge: David gives us an amazing picture of what he thinks will be the wonderful House of the Lord. We as believers will be there someday. We should remember that wonderful image AS we go about our days living here in an imperfect world and among imperfect people (including ourselves). Thank you for this image of your Home, Father. Amen.
