In Conclusion

Isaiah 2:19-22

This apocalyptic passage may seem a strange one to include in a discussion of voting processes. It’s here for two main reasons. First, to point out the fact that in the end, God’s opinion and agenda is the only one that really matters. Second, it’s here for the last verse. God works through people, but ultimately, our trust, hope and focus must not be on flawed humans and government programs, but on God. He is the only hope for our nation and world.

1. How do you view the role of believers in the political process? 
2. Where would you rate yourself on a scale with one extreme being incredible anxiety over the current state of government and the other being complete reliance on God? Where would you like to be?
