Listen

Proverbs 1:24-33

Do we truly listen?  That is a great question.  The first chapter of Proverbs talks about wisdom, and how we need to listen to God.  We are good at trying to follow our own way, fill our lives with things that we think will satisfy us.  The truth is the only thing that will satisfy is Christ’s love and plan for our life.  We must be careful to listen to God and follow His plan for our life.  As it says in verse 33, “Whoever listens to me will live securely and will be at ease from the dread of the evil one.”

1. Do you take time to listen to God each day?  

2. With what things do you try to fill your life with?
