11/8/2024 0 Comments Our Final Home (and Who's with Us)And then, someday, we will be Home. It will be glorious. But before that, though, do we conduct ourselves in such a way that others will want to JOIN us there? We should be thinking about that because, as we mentioned earlier, a home is not just a place but it’s a place with people and beings we love. That’s a key thing to think about when we think of finally “going home.”
Questions for further thought: 1. Do you think about the souls of those who could join you when “going home”? 2. Do you think about the actual work of evangelism – The Great Commission – when you think of our final home? Challenge: Oh, Lord, it will be so wonderful to go home, as David told us in his psalms to you. But help us to remember our brothers and sisters who also should be going home with us. Help us to evangelize as many of them as you send our way. Our home should be their home as well. Help us to do that, Lord. Amen.
