6/3/2021 0 Comments Our Graceful GodIf mercy can be defined as not getting what we deserve, then grace might be explained as receiving a gift that we did not and cannot earn. God was and is under no obligation to forgive us for the times we’ve missed the mark He’s set for us. But He is incredibly gracious to us. There’s an acrostic you’ve likely heard that describes this well – God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.
Questions for further thought: 1. What difference has the gift of God’s grace made in your life? 2. Do you find it easy or hard to extend grace to others…or possibly just to certain people? How about extending it to yourself? Explain your answers. Challenge: Sometimes we can understand the concept of grace perfectly yet still not truly live like we have received it. If this is you, look up at least five verses on grace today and ask God to make personal grace real to you. Pray that prayer until it happens!
