Second Chance at Paradise

Romans 5:15-17

The story of Adam and Eve in the garden – all they had and all that they and mankind lost – is a sad chapter. Thank God it’s not the end of the story. The Good News is all about the second chance – the opportunity to repair the damage done by original sin and once again draw close to God. Jesus’ sacrifice bridged the gap that sin opened and allows us to be called children of God. That truly is good news that is worth sharing.

Questions for further thought:
1. When did you sense your need of forgiveness and decide to follow Jesus? What factors and people were involved in bringing you to that point?
2. To whom are you willing to extend grace and offer a second chance?

​Challenge: Who in your sphere of influence might need to hear the Good News? Pray each day for God to make it clear to you who this person or persons might be. Then share the truth with them and leave the results to God.
