The Way of this World

Matthew 24:37

Folks, to put it mildly, the world has been in a “world of hurt” since Genesis 3. Meaning, since sin came into the world, people have been suffering. But there have been points of out-and-out sin at different times that have directly threatened the people of this world. And it’s not the last time.

Questions for further thought:
1. How often do you think of the impact of sin upon this world?
2. Do you think it can get worse than it is now?

Challenge: Our challenge is to remember that it actually can get worse than “right now.” That’s a sobering thought but it most definitely can. In the meantime, we can pray to the Lord that we can be a light in this time, regardless of how bad it seems or is. That’s what Noah did and what every good servant of the Lord has done from the beginning of time. Let us be like Noah and them.
