![]() The dry bones passage in chapter 37 is a favorite of many readers. It is strange on its own but beautiful in context. Israel is destroyed, the Temple is decimated and the people are carried off into slavery…how could God’s prophecy of a restored nation ever become a reality? It is illustrated through the dry bones. As the prophecy is spoken, the bones revive. If Israel will ever find her former glory, it will be at the hand and power of God. -Pastor Doug
