Accountability

Proverbs 27:6, 17; James 5:16

God did not intend for you to fight your battles alone. There is a reason those who follow Christ come together for fellowship and service, united as the church. We are called upon to strengthen each other and lift each other up. One aspect of that call is leaning on, and/or providing accountability for, each other. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are called to love each other, even if sometimes that love can be tough.

Questions for further thought:
1. Who are the people in your life who hold you accountable?
2. What things do you need to be held accountable for?  

​Challenge: If you don’t have an accountability person, ask around and find one! If you do, set up a meeting and check on where you are right now. Thank that person for being an important part of your journey.
