11/2/2022 0 Comments Even Bad Things Are Meant for GoodJoseph is a prime example of where God uses the bad experiences in our life for good. He was sold into slavery by his brothers and thrown in prison for something he did not do. Yet all of that led him to be in the right place at the right time. He was able to not only save the Egyptian people from a famine, but many others, including his family.
Questions for further thought: 1. When has God used something bad in your life for good? 2. Think back to that time and consider your reaction. What would you do differently now, knowing it led to good? Challenge: If currently going through good times, thank God for the blessings and the road that led you to where you are. If currently going through a bad patch, pray to God for strength and perseverance.

11/1/2022 0 Comments He Has a PlanEven though He knew we would sin, He created each of us for a specific purpose. He has a grand plan for which we all play a part. We do not see the big picture or the why behind things that happen, but God has it all under control. He simply asks us to have faith in Him and follow the path He has set before you. His plan will succeed with or without us.
Questions for further thought: 1. What events in your life caused you to question God’s plan? 2. What steps might God be asking you to take? Challenge: If questioning God’s plan, take those questions to God in prayer. He Is not afraid of your questions and wants you to bring your concerns and questions to Him. Make sure to take time to be still afterwards so He can respond. |
