Even Bad Things Are Meant for Good

Genesis 41:41-57

Joseph is a prime example of where God uses the bad experiences in our life for good.  He was sold into slavery by his brothers and thrown in prison for something he did not do.  Yet all of that led him to be in the right place at the right time.  He was able to not only save the Egyptian people from a famine, but many others, including his family.  

Questions for further thought:
1. When has God used something bad in your life for good?
2. Think back to that time and consider your reaction. What would you do differently now, knowing it led to good?

​Challenge: If currently going through good times, thank God for the blessings and the road that led you to where you are.  If currently going through a bad patch, pray to God for strength and perseverance.
