12/4/2020 0 Comments Christ's Represent-ativeWhen people interact with the world, most realize that their words and actions will reflect, whether positively or negatively, on their family, company, or organization. We, as Christians, even more so must remember our roles as Christ’s representatives on earth. How we live can give people a glimpse of our Lord’s character. Notice that many virtuous attributes of a believer are described in this passage, but thankfulness is the only one mentioned three times!
Questions for further thought: 1. Think of a Christian you feel is worthy of emulating. What Christ-like qualities have you observed in his/her life? 2. What would have to change in your life for “thankful” or “grateful” to be words people use to describe you? Challenge: Go forth into this world where discontentment reigns supreme and shock people with your gratitude! See if you can work something you’re thankful for into every conversation. Who knows – someone might even ask why you have such a grateful attitude! Then you’ll have the perfect opportunity to tell them about the One you represent.
