Complaining

Lamentations 3:39

Why do we complain?  Is it because we feel like we are owed something?  Is it because we feel like we have been wronged?  Are we just selfish and inward looking?   Jeremiah says that “we should not complain in light of our sins.”   We have the peace of knowing that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins; all we have to do is believe in Him and ask for His forgiveness.  So, let us not complain, for we have been given the best gift of all - salvation through Christ.

Challenge: Stop complaining and give thanks to God for the salvation you have received through Christ.
