Gathering for an Amazing Event

Luke 2:8-9

Christmastime is when we think about the light of the world.  This, of course, is Jesus. We remember this through the story of Christmas itself, particularly as described in Luke 2:8-9.   

Questions for further thought:
1. What are your fondest memories of learning about the Christmas story?
2. What would you say is the most amazing thing about the first Christmas?  What’s most meaningful for you when you think of Him being born for you? 

​Challenge: Think about what it must have been like to have been there when He was born.  Then, think on the significance of what has happened SINCE He has been.  Be extremely grateful for the birth of the greatest being history has ever had, as the shepherds were.
