Hearing is Just One Step

I Kings 17:1-6

Once we’ve learned to hear God’s voice, there is a next logical step to take – acting on what He has revealed. The Bible is full of accounts of all sorts of different responses to God’s instructions, from Moses’ initial reluctance to the prophets’ obedience – even when the requests were exceedingly strange. One common thread runs throughout – God gives us the opportunity to be intimately involved in His story when we listen to His voice and follow His direction.

1. We’ve all done it at times, but what keeps you from acting when you believe God is leading you to do something? 


2. How do you personally discern God’s leading in a particular situation?
