9/2/2019 0 Comments Hearts and MindsIn our lives, we think we “understand” that which is around us and what we experience, see, and do. But, oftentimes, we don’t see the faulty arguments for “how things should be,” that are right in front of us. Fortunately, God is there to supply us with His wisdom so that we can clearly see the actual world around us, do His will in it, love His people, and break the darkness of false thought.
1. What things of our world today do we think we “know all about” that God might be opening our eyes to see anew and correctly? 2. How do we respond to that eye-opening experience from the Holy Spirit? Challenge: Today, pray, pray, pray for “eyes to see” the world around us as God sees it, and to open our minds and hearts to His will in it. May we see the world and the people in it not as strangers and people passing by, but as our brothers and sisters whom Christ loves just as much as He loves us. In other words: to see them and the world as He sees them.
