Let The LORD Help You Win The War In and For Your Mind

Philippians 4:8

By now, it should be obvious that the “new neural pathways” that we need to think correctly  cannot and won’t be done by our own power alone.  But, as always, our Father will be more than happy to help us to think and be more like Him.  All we need do is ask Him to “take over” our minds and guide them to His ways of thinking.

Questions for further thought:
1. Do we sometimes wish to keep control of our minds, even in service to God?
2. How does that work out when we don’t pray for God to lead us to think as He does?

​Challenge: Lord, we know that your ways are not our ways.  You’ve told us this.  Yet, we know that your ways of thinking and being are the BEST ways of all.  Please help us to remember to ask you to take over and help us form new ways of thinking by allowing your Spirit to guide us to both the correct thoughts AND the correct manner of thinking.  Thank you, Lord.  In your name, Amen!
