11/30/2020 0 Comments Living in GratitudeThis passage includes a wonderful list of basic ways Christians can be different than most of the world and thus pleasing to God. Having a truly thankful heart will affect every area of our lives, from how we treat others to how we handle each situation we face. We don’t have to be giddy when life throws difficult people and experiences our way, but learning to always find something to be grateful for makes it much easier to feel the peace and joy we all desire.
Questions for further thought: 1. How can you become more of a “glass half full” kind of person? 2. What specific things can you thank God for in the midst of your most trying relationship or circumstance? Challenge: The next time you feel tempted to complain to someone about anything (or anyone), stop yourself and instead share your gratitude. There is ALWAYS something positive to find if we take time to redirect our thoughts. Appreciation for God’s blessings is super attractive to others!
