Molded Through Trials

Romans 5:3; 2 Corinthians 1:3-7

The earliest Christians were not strangers to suffering. They gave up their homes, their possessions, and their lives for Christ. Not only were the people around them converted through their faith, they themselves were changed as well! The trials of life offer an opportunity; will you persevere, or give up? If you choose the former, you will find yourself changed. You have withstood fire, so that you are sharper and better prepared than before. The goal is to become more like Christ, so that through your suffering you will find peace.

1. In what ways have you changed since you first accepted Jesus?

2. How can you become more like Christ?
