11/14/2018 0 Comments Nothing = EverythingGod’s love and commitment to us are second to none. It has been His plan from the beginning to grant our salvation and free us from slavery, the slavery of our sins. The death of Christ was not an accident, but rather an appointment. Since the beginning, God has made us aware of the sacrifice He would make in order to keep us holy. If He is so willing to sacrifice the precious life of his one and only Son, then we should show our appreciation through our commitment to being holy to God.
1. Christ gave his life for us. What would you be willing to give up for the rest of your life for your loved ones? 2. What would you sacrifice for someone you never met? Would you be able to sacrifice now for the sake of future generations you will never meet? Challenge: Your challenge is to simply take a walk. Not just any walk, but the walk through the Stations of the Cross. Come to a better understanding of the sacrifice that was made for your salvation. Find a space where you can focus uninterrupted and meditate on each station. Reflect on the events which took place during Christ’s last moments in the flesh. Challenge yourself to become emotionally involved with Christ’s passion for us.
