9/5/2018 0 Comments Our True HomeJust about anyone who has traveled has had the experience of waking up in a dark hotel room totally confused about where you are. You know you’re not home…it just doesn’t feel right. Sometimes our life can feel a little like that. There are many wonderful things about our earthly home, but for believers, it often feels like we don’t quite fit in. We’re looking for where we truly belong. That’s heaven.
1. Is it appropriate to long for heaven? Why or why not? 2. Do you ever find yourself longing for heaven? What situations or circumstance are most likely to make you feel like you don’t quite fit here? Challenge: “This world is not my home, I’m just passing through”-lyrics to a song we sang when I was a child. Write down ways that today you showed those around you that you believe the things you own, love, and hold dear are just temporary and that your real love is for your final destination.
