Purpose vs. Comfort

1 Peter 4:10-11

If you’ve ever gone on a mission trip or done some type of volunteering, you probably remember feeling a little apprehensive or uncomfortable. But you soon found out that God had a purpose and was able to use you to make a difference. When it was over, you could look back and see how He was at work providing, equipping, and blessing. 
 
Questions for further thought:
1. What are some volunteer or mission trip opportunities you could participate in?
2. What makes you feel apprehensive about doing these things?  

Challenge: Seek volunteer opportunities within Hillcrest and our community and pray for a willing spirit and God’s equipping.
