Relying on Our Own Power Source

Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 1:7

Every robot needs a power source to be able to operate. The same is true for us. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to be able to live up to our potential as Christians. God will supply what we need so we can serve Him. Without Him, our actions don’t reap the results He intends.

Questions for further thought:
1. In what way have you relied on your own power to do something?
2. How have you experienced the Holy Spirit’s power?

Challenge: Read Philippians 4:19 aloud and repeat it. Think about how the creator of the universe will meet all of our needs as we do His will.
