Shielded by God's Power

1 Peter 1:3-5; Psalm 3:3; Ephesians 3:20-21

No matter the trials that we may face, God is more than able to bring us through them. This same God, who by His power raised Jesus from the dead, is the God who is with us in our trials. His power is very present in our lives, and He even works it in and through us. God does not simply give us a shield to protect us, but He is our shield and protection.  

1. Is it hard for you to have faith that God’s power is at work in your life? Why or why not?

2. How have you seen God’s power at work in the midst of your trials?  

Challenge: As you reflect on these verses and begin to wonder at God’s incredible power, take some time to praise Him for it and let it increase your faith.
