Shielded for Victory

1 John 5:4-5; John 16:33; 1 John 4:4

As we continue to consider how God’s faithful presence in our lives shields us in trials, we see that God is our victory. Christ has overcome the world, and when we trust in Him, we are able to share in this victory. God has given us His Spirit, and by His Spirit, we can find strength, hope, and victory through Christ. 

1. How can your faith in Christ enable you to experience victory in the trials of life? 

2. In what ways do you struggle to relinquish control and act in faith to claim the victory God has already promised to us through Him?
