The Great Commission

Matthew 28:18-20

Christians will tell you that when asked the question “What does God want you to do in this lifetime?” The answer will be to “spread the news of Jesus Christ.”  In Matthew Jesus’ last words to his disciples were just that, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Some teachings of Jesus left his disciples wondering what Jesus was saying. Jesus’ last words however were very straight forward and leave us without question what our job here on earth is! 

Questions for further thought:
1. Do Jesus’ last words of what you are to do make you feel anxious? 
2. Has there ever been a time when sharing the news of Jesus with someone just came natural with zero thought or anxiety? 

​Challenge:  Find a way to spread the news of Jesus this week to someone you know needs to hear it.
