The Guiding Light

Matthew 2:1-2, 9-11

The wise men travelled from a great distance to see the new Savior that was born in Bethlehem. God provided a light in the sky in the form of a bright star. The star preceded them showing the way to Bethlehem. The darkness of the night was no match for a simple light in the sky, showing them just enough to move in the right direction. 


Questions for further thought:
1. What situation has been a long ordeal that God has brought you through?

2. What light has God provided you through the long ordeal?


​Challenge: We have a faithful God who will always provide a light in the darkness to help you through all your ordeals. Turn to the wise men (and women) in your life and ask them to pray over you when you are in need.
