Trouble

John 16:33

Just when we think that life is good and nothing can go wrong, trouble finds us.  It doesn’t matter who you are. Whether you have money or power, if you are a Christian or Atheist, tribulations in this life is a promise.  The question is, how do we respond to troubling times?  The Bible tells us to take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world.  

1. “Take heart” is a simple instruction to understand but much harder to follow.  How can you grow stronger in faith during times of tribulations?

2. What does it mean to have peace during tribulations?  Does peace mean that there is a guaranteed safe outcome?  

Challenge: Make a change. Be conscious of your worry and fight it.  When you can’t get away from the worry, still yourself and go to Him who gives you peace.
