Are your prayers being answered? Are there things that can keep prayers from being answered? We must believe that God is capable of answering our prayer. We must first trust God. Mark tells us if we hold a grudge or have not forgiven someone who has wronged us, it can be in the way of our own forgiveness. We must forgive if we expect to be forgiven. In our relationships we must be considerate of others, so our prayers will not be hindered.
Questions for further thought:
1. Consider relationships in your life. Is there anyone you need to forgive?
2. Do you trust God to answer your prayers?
Challenge: We do have a responsibility in receiving answers to our prayer: trusting in God, forgiving others, and being considerate of the people in our life.
