When God Asks

Matthew 1:20-25

Joseph had a choice to make, and he stepped up and followed God when asked to walk the hard path.  The easy thing to do would have been to walk away from this situation, but Joseph chose to carry through and complete his part of God's plan.  This would have been the more difficult and at times even embarrassing role for him to play in their culture and time period.  Definitely not an easy ask for Joseph, but he followed through! Thank God he did!


Questions for further thought:
1. What tough decision has God asked you to make lately?

2. Did you make the correct decision or take the easier path?


Challenge: Now it is true that God is not going to ask any of us to be the earthy father to his son, but what he does ask of us is no less important.  When we are asked to step out in faith, we have no idea what God has planned. It could be something huge we can't even fathom.  The next time He is putting something on your heart and is asking you to move, please take that step. I don't believe you will regret it!
