Quarantine, Isolation, and the Community of Faith

Quarantine, isolation, shelter in place, social distancing are all terms that we had very little context for outside of some zombie apocalypse movie or seeing people in Asia wearing masks on the news. Now you find yourself hoarding toilet paper when just two weeks ago you were making fun of those that did. You’re out of work, your kids are home and the lives of your parents are at risk and now you can’t even go to church. What is happening, how will it turn out and where is God in all of this? This Sunday, Pastor Doug and Pastor Brian will share some thoughts and help you see exactly where God is in these trying days ahead. It’s Good News!

We all know that God knows the plans he has for us and they are plans for prospering and for good. Did you also know you will suffer and that God has plans for you in and through your suffering? The Bible teaches us not to judge...right? Wrong! In a world for judgement, it would be great if we could live in a judgement free society but the truth is we all judge. People have been saying the Christian should not judge because the Bible says we are not to judge but that's just not true.
