You’ve heard the saying, “Who’s your daddy”? When it comes to God and earthly leaders, that becomes a real question we have to have an answer for. This Sunday, Pastor Doug will look at what God has to say about those in authority over us in light of the laws of God. Who do we obey and how do we do it? When we finally come to Christmas Eve, we can feel like somehow we missed Christmas. We were so busy worrying about every little detail that the joy of Christmas seems to have been stolen from our hearts. This Christmas Eve, Pastor Doug will look at the fear of the shepherds that first Christmas night and the joy the angels proclaimed for them and for you. Before the advent of the internet, you would see “no vacancy” signs outside of hotels and motels along the roadways. If the word “no” was l.it up, it meant there were no rooms. Mary and Joseph needed a room and they came to an innkeeper. This Sunday, Pastor Doug will look at the story of the innkeeper and ask the question, “Is there room in our Christmas for Jesus?” Join us for our traditional children's Christmas musical, including songs from our preschoolers and the Christmas play, "Sheep in Heavenly Peace," performed by our elementary school students. Doubt is a normal part of life. When something seems impossible or highly improbable, it is normal to doubt it. If doubt is normal, is there broom for doubt in our faith? This Sunday, Pastor Doug is kicking off a new Christmas series and will be looking at Joseph, Jesus’ earthly father, to see how he dealt with his doubt.
