A great theologian said we are all toxically overstimulated. Silence and being alone is not only hard to come by but if we are honest, we don’t want it. God speaks in a “still small voice” but with all the noise we might not be hearing him. This week in our final message, Pastor Brian will talk about the value and practical application of quieting the voices so we can hear God’s voice in The Wilderness of the Whisper.

One of the most difficult wilderness journeys you can take in life is into the wilderness of despair. That place where there is a complete loss of hope. Where is God in that moment, why has he allowed you to become so destitute, and is there any hope to be found. In the most powerful message of this series, Pastor Doug is going to show us how God is there and how God works in these deeply painful moments. If you find yourself in this wilderness, come this Sunday to hear how healing, restoration, love, and peace can be yours in the Wilderness of Despair. Have you ever gone on a hike and forgot to pay attention to where you were going and found yourself lost. Hopefully, you can quickly retrace your steps and find the path back home but sometimes we go so far into the wilderness it seems like we’ll never find our way out. This week, Pastor Doug will look at the choices King David made that got him lost in the wilderness and we will learn what to do if we make poor choices and end up in The Wilderness We Choose. Life is not easy and things happen to us that we do not deserve and cause us times of pain and suffering. These wilderness moments make us feel alone and we wonder if God is present and knows the hurt we experience. This week, Pastor Doug will look at the imprisonment of Joseph in his wilderness journey and what happens when we stay faithful along the way. Don’t miss this first message about Joe and a story about butterflies in the first of the Messages From The Wilderness. |
